Had the best swim ever, the beach is just stunning. Crystal clear water and calm waves. We parked in the car park at the top of the main hill. Walked down to hear the whistling rock, it really does whistle! Then out to the lookout, what a stunning view.
After taking in the expanse, we headed back down past the car again, grabbed the fishing gear and the water was still calm, so we threw a line in and caught some decent skippy. Yummo.
Lastly as the sun was starting to head to bed, we dropped all of the gear on the beach and jumped into that crystal clear water. It's a little cold, but soooo nice once you're in. The sand is pure white and quite compacted. We sat and swam, sunbathed and then with the last slivers of light, headed back to the car exhausted. What a day.
