A wash of colours, a step into a dream. This slow flowing creek feeds the Little Lagoon in Shark Bay with nutrients, fish and life. Sharks, rays, fish, crabs and other sea creatures make the journey up and back from the ocean to the Lagoon. I think it's their holiday house.
You can stand on the bank and observe the passersby in the water, or put on a mask and watch the shrimp jumping in the weed right on the shore. If you're brave, snorkel slowly down the creek but keep your feet off the ground, there are stonefish hiding amongst the rocks.
A calming place to encounter some fun sea life, a snapshot of their habitat.
