It's the peace and huge expanse of a salt pan. Silence highlighted by a few faint bird calls. There's not a lot of wildlife here, but it's alive. The heat is all around you, the crunch of the salt underfoot.
I was fortunate to have some time to get the drone airborne over the salt pans near Newdegate in WA, search up Lake Grace to find them. The pans are stunning and the birds eye view is amazing with the red stripes of the roads.
